Underrated K-Pop Groups #9 - WINGS

Hello, pumpkins,

once again back to the underrated groups. This time it's a female duo WINGS, formed under Sony Music Korea in 2014. The duo consists of Yeseul and Nayoung. During their trainee days they recoreded guide vocals for the Korean version of Little Mix's single, 'Wings', which led to their formation.

I fell in love with them. They're very talented and really stand out, even though no one really heard of them. Usual K-pop stans follow idol music but don't look into these smaller groups. They really deserve much more attention than what is given to them now.

If you listen to 'Blossom' or 'Hair Short' doesn't matter. You can hear it. They have very fresh and abstract concepts, making a little different music than idols. In the song 'Blossom' is even featured Baechigi, quite trendy rapper in South Korea.

In my opinion they're both very beautiful. Can't really say which one's more. The same applies for their voices.

Listen to them and make your own opinion but I really think they are going to have big name in the music industry someday. Now just waiting for their comeback! Fighting!

Skoolooks

Hello, pumpkins,

let's take a look on something different now. I've got many bias groups and two of these are Apink and B.A.P. So you can guess that their collaboration song made me fangirl all over the place.

I really love it! This catchy, cheerful song made my day. For the photoshoot they even posed with B2ST! I really love this whole idea whatever it is. I'll drop a few pictures here so you can see what I'm talking about.

And in the end something cheerful! Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #8 - Spica

Hey, pumpkins,

again with girl groups, I'd like to introduce you Spica. This five-member group was formed under B2M Entertainment in 2012. Their popularity is rising ever since but I still don't hear about them much. Me getting to know them was just a lucky coincidence.

If you listen to their voices you'll probably understand what I'm talking about. Their music is catchy and I liked to listen to them while doing house works. I seriously love Juhyun's rap parts, it's just amazing!

Let's hope they become more attention worldwide as they deserve. Maybe you say they're not that underrated but I decided to write about them because I myself knew nothing about them because I didn't come across a post about them until recently. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #7 - BESTie

Hey, pumpkins,

I'm back with more underrated girl groups since I really think that because of the huge amount of loud and crazy fangirls obessing over boy groups, girls don't get as much attention as they should. Let's introduce you a group called BESTie.

BESTie made their debut as a four-member group under YNB Entertainment in 2013, consisting of Hyeyeon, UJi, Dahye and Haeryung. I just got to know them but as I looked into Internet for some information they're often associated with EXID which overshadows them in my opinion. I asked a few people about them and everyone's first thought was EXID.

I would say they deserve more attention independent on EXID. They're talented and could do well on their own. It's said because no one talks about them on social media as much as about "top groups". BESTie could follow them if they got a chance. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #6 - SPEED

Hello, pumpkins,

today let's take a look into other underrated K-pop groups, now an idol one. This now seven-member boy group is called SPEED and debuted under MBK Entertainment (formerly Core Contents Media) in 2012. Formerly known as "Male Unit" of Coed School, they got new name SPEED when their agency announced them to be an independent group in 2013.

They were originally a six-member group composed of Kwanghaeng, Noori, Jungwoo, Taewoon, Sungmin and Jongkook. After some line-up changes they consist now of Jungwoo, Yuhwan, Taeha, Jongkook, Sejun, KI-O and Sungmin.

Guys, they're pretty good. I still don't remember all the members but I fell for them. They're talented vocalists, dancers and rappers, they make great music. I saw some shows with them and they're also quite funny.

I would say that with more international fans they could also become someone big. They have the talent but not the opportunity. I don't tell you to love them. Just saying. My purpose of this is to make you learn new groups and maybe finding new bias. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #5 - Fly to the Sky

Hi, pumpkins,

this post is also dedicated to a duo. This time no siblings but two very talented men forming Fly to the Sky, consisting of Brian Joon and Hwanhee. They are credited as the first R&B duo in South Korea. They debuted under SM Entertainment in 1999 before signing under PFull Entertainment as their contract with SM expired.

Their beautiful, yet somehow sad music could catch attention of many. Their strong vocals and sad sounding voices pierce through one's soul like needles that heal you.

I would say these two really deserve more attention. Not just because of their handsomeness but also their music. These slow, sad melodies made me swing around to the rhythm while tidying up our house. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #4 - AKMU

Hi, pumpkins,

let's return to uderrated K-pop groups. This post is going to be about a sibling duo AKMU. Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Sunhyun won the second installment of K-Pop Star 2. They debuted in 2014 under YG Entertainment. They formed a duo AKMU, short for Akdong Musician.

They're really talented. I spent about two hours listening to them and I fell in love. Their cheerful, beautiful songs really moved my soul. They're funny, dorky and after seeing their performances on K-Pop Star 2 I really started to like them.

So talented siblings are rare to see. I came across only good groups so far but this one takes one of the first rungs. Chanhyuk sings, composes their songs and even plays a guitar while Sunhyun sings with her breathtaking voice...

Yeah, they may not be the most handsome and good-looking but it's the music that counts. Sunhyun is really lovely, cute and has a bright smile. Chanhyuk seems very optimistic, energic and funny. I really adore them. Fighting!

Sherlock Theory #1

SPOILER ALERT
May not be suitable for everyone who didn't see the last season of Sherlock. Not real facts, just theory.

Hello there, pumpkins,

let's take a peek-a-boo into BBC's Sherlock. Its timeline and story has been concerning me for a while - literally since I saw the first episode, A Study In Pink. I totally fell in love with it so I payed a lot of attention to the small details Gatiss and Moffat left there for us.

I love how the friendship between the two main heroes, an introverted, insensitive, sociopathic detective Sherlock Holmes and kind, caring, short-tempered former army doctor John Watson, grows through the story. They start off a little oddly and for a little while I considered Sherlock as psychopathic creep, since I don't know the original story, but my opinion changed very quickly through the first episode. He may be a little out-of-this-world and act like an alien without the knowledge of human ways of acting, yet he still cares in depths of his heart, while keeping the straight poker face of no emotions.

Total opposite of John, who has hearts on his sleeves. He gives his kindness quite everywhere. We can't be angry at him though - a short size brings a short temper. So when he explodes at Sherlock sometimes, it's not bad. Sherlock needs it. He's like an uncultivated kid. Lucky he found John to keep him in check.

Now the third season came by, ended and fleed away. Ending with a big, hateable cliff hanger and plot twist at once - Moriarty still lives, comes back and asks if we missed him. Yeah, we missed you, Jimmy, but couldn't you rise from the dead some other day?

His return made me think a little and search the Internet a little. How did he survive? Didn't he shoot himself though his skull, bleeding his brain out? Ob...viously not. So how did this happen?

In  The Reichenbach Fall we could see Moriarty putting a gun inside his mouth and pulling the trigger, predictably sending a bullet through his head. Simple and quick death.

Can we please look at this moment for a while? It's not seen clearly in this gif but as Moriarty puts the gun barrel inside his opened mouth Sherlock backs out with the camera following him. We did not see directly that Jimmy really shot. Also we see no shattered skull.

Now you can say - Yeah, but what about the blood? How could you explain this? Think carefully. Everytime someone "died" we saw the blood and everything.

But when someone actually died we didn't see the details. We only saw the scene from far away, the camera not focusing on what happened to them and how their dead bodies looked like.

Which leads us to the blood. How did it appear there? Did it fall from the sky? Not in this universe. In Doctor Who it may be possible aliens but here everything has a logical conclusion.

Think back. The first episode of the third season. We got to know totally new female character who is to marry John Watson. We know nothing about her - where she came from, how she met John, what she did before. Nothing. Sherlock's deductions show us a little behind the curtains, yet not seeing everything.

Mary Morstan is one big secret. If you look at the picture above, you'll find some interesting stuff - liar, secret tattoo, disillusioned, clever, guardian. Let's work with these deducted words that Sherlock kindly gave to us.

Liar. Well, she lied about her identity and about her liking John's mustache. The first one is a bigger problem though. Yes, everyone has things one does not want to mention again. I think she lied about more things but let's not say until fourth season.

Secret tattoo. Why do I even mention it? Not to show you that she is a bad girl. It could be a metaphore for a hidden sign from the past. Like for example, she could work somehow with Magnussen (well, he knows her). She has ob...viously a dark past.

Disillusioned. This could have two meanings. She knows reality very good and without mistake, meaning she came through a lot or knows the truth of the whole situation - like for example she knew that Sherlock lives, yet let John mourn on her shoulder for the one she knew was alive. Proof? If I was a woman loving her man and knowing how my beloved one suffered through these two years thinking his best friend died, I wouldn't just laugh it off as Mary did.

Clever. Everyone can be clever but she's clever enough to hide everything from others, manipulate people around her and make everyone believe she's a part of their lives. Remember that moment when Sherlock a John got mad at each other while making preparations for the wedding and she played on both sides, making them to make peace with one another.

Guardian. As I'm going to explain a little later, she could be a guardian to John. She's shown multiple times to take care of John a lot, willing to kill everyone to keep him safe.

Clearly there is something wrong with her. Someone, an anonymous, sent her a message. Normal people would just ignore since it's making no sense. But she said it was a skip code. She knows about codes

Also, why would someone text her in the first place? How do they know she will find out it's a coude and will pass it on down Sherlock?

Why do they text her and call her 'Mr. Holmes'? How do they know she's with him? If they really wanted to contact Sherlock and had discovered Mary's number, they could get Sherlock's. This could be leading us to the thought of her and Magnussen having something in common in the past, since he was ob...viously the one contacting her.

How does this all relate to Moriarty's death? Well, do you remember Mary demonstrating her shooting skills?

She's perfect. She shot it through in the middle even in that speed and distance.

Amazing, isn't it? She can be accurate even from long distances.

If you return to what I said at the beginning - Moriarty ob...viously did not shoot himself. But still we heard the sound of it. If I recall it correctly it was even a bit later than the "actual shot" but that could be mistake of my loud-speaker. That means something or someone had to shoot.

Imagine Moriarty having a miniature packet with red paint on the back of his head. Imagine someone shooting from long distance, directly, without fail hitting the packet, making this a perfect survival plan.

Who could shoot from this distance? Well, I already said it.

Conclusion: Mary Elizabeth Watson, formerly Morstan, aka A.G.R.A., helped Moriarty with faking his own death. She knew about Sherlock being alive. Moriarty could then send her to check on John and wait for Sherlock to return, so Moriarty could also get back into action with an ample advance.

Let me know your opinions! I wrote this from my own theories and then a few theories found on the Internet. I don't really remember them so I cannot tell you exactly. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #3 - Orange Caramel

Hey, pumpkins,

time to move to girl groups. For this post I chose one of my first K-pop groups I've come around to. This one is a sub-unit of After School, Orange Caramel. This group of three talented girls, Raina, Nana and Lizzy, was formed under Pledis Entertainment in 2010.

Their style is sweet, colorful and a little bit crazy, yet still original. Their cheerful songs helped me through rough days and made me feel at ease when I was under stress. I owe them a lot. They were quite unknown until their catchy hit 'Catallena'.

Their songs may sound a bit crazy and not-serious but they all have their meaning. Catallena is a new word, reffering to a picky and rude person (often a woman) who acts not so nice to others, yet she's still envied and popular.

If you want to learn a energic, quite simple dance, Orange Caramel could be one of your choices. They don't have much complicated choreographies, only thing exhausting about it is that they jump very much so you could get some sweat along your way.

Have a nice day reading this and learning more about idols you might not know. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #2 - LEDApple

Yo, pumpkins,

Part two is coming. We look closer at a rock band LedT, formerly known as LEDApple (I like this name more though), standing for Logic Egoism Delete. Formed under Starkim Entertainment in 2010, LEDApple originally debuted with five members but since then came through many line-up changes. Through LEDApple went in total thirteen boys, including current members JUN, AKi and Kei.

They demonstrated their talent and abilities in many original and cover songs, yet still lacking the attention they deserve. To tell you the truth, I checked out many of their songs but I like the most the songs they produced during 2012 or so.

As I already mentioned after that crazy member-changing they ended up with three members and a new name. This one's quite recent with JUN, Kei and AKi.

I think it's a little sad that there are only three guys now but they still show how talented they are. Listen to them and support them if you like them! That's it, have a nice day, evening, night or whatever. Fighting!

Underrated K-Pop Groups #1 - HALO

Hello, pumpkins,

as you've seen above our topic for a while is going to be "Underrated K-Pop Groups". I've found a few posts about this, stating groups I've never heard about, but seriously, dongs, some of them are really great and I'm sorry no one pays to them so much attention as to the "big ones".

So the first I'd like to introduce to you is a boy group HALO, short for Hexagon of Absolute Light and Organization. It's a boy idol group found on 27th June 2014, signed under AYIN Holdings (formerly known as C.Two Entertainment), consisting of six members - Dino, Inhaeng, Ooon, Jaeyong, Heecheon and Yoondong. Nothing much known about them but they're cute, talented and in my opinion deserve more attention and love. You know, they have even their own fandom name - HaVe (Halo Love).

Before jumping to anything else, play this song to feel the atmosphere and make an opinion on your own before you get influenced by me.

Their music is catchy and in my opinion easy to remember. They don't have as many songs as for example BIGBANG but in my K-pop list they stand out a little and have their own special place as only a few.

They're signed under a not-so-popular company but they have the potencial to become wolrd-wide famous. I guess if they had more international fans they could become someone great. Since I couldn't find much about them on the Internet I can't give you a long lecture about them. Just briefly said, just so you know about their existence.

At the end, I'll just drop here one more song as I will be taking my goodbye. Have a nice listening!

Introducing

Hello, pumpkins,

welcome here on my blog. As you probably already noticed I'm a K-pop fan, so yes, a lot of my posts will be about Korean music, culture and so on. Don't be mistaken - I live also another lives, I'm a former hardcore Otaku, a book fan, a show/movie fan and I don't know what else I am.

I don't know if describing myself could tell you something but I'll try to shortly introduce myself. I'm quite short for my age (and yes, I've got a complex about it), live in that very dangerous part of the world - Europe - and my native language is not English, although I've spoken English since I was four years old.

I live a comfortable life of a very annoying, yet quiet netizen. I don't speak much 'coz I'm shy (you would never say this about me until you got to know me better), yet I'm super hyperactive sometimes, can't stay still and think a lot.

Haha, okay, that's enough. I don't wanna bore you to death. I just wanna say that I'm going to tell you a lot of things but not all are mine thoughts so I'll post a source to it. Sure, pumpkins, I'll be gentle and won't critise much 'coz that's "not my style" (as Kris always says).

Be nice and cute as always! Fighting!
